Maria T. — Old Torrance | Attic Insulation Replacement

We bought our 1960s home in Old Torrance knowing the insulation was original and well past its prime. Thermal Nest came out promptly, gave us a clear written estimate, and explained every step before starting work. The crew removed the old blown-in material, air-sealed the attic, and installed new blown-in fiberglass in a single day. Our energy bills dropped noticeably the very next month, and our upstairs bedrooms finally feel comfortable in the summer heat.

Derek and Susan L. — Hollywood Riviera | Crawl Space Encapsulation

Our crawl space had been a source of moisture problems and musty odors for years. Thermal Nest’s technician did a thorough inspection and walked us through exactly what was causing the issue before recommending a full encapsulation with a vapor barrier. The work was completed on schedule and the team cleaned up so well you’d never know they’d been under the house. Six months later, the odor is completely gone and our floors no longer feel cold in the winter.

James R. — Walteria | Spray Foam Insulation

I had three quotes for spray foam insulation in my garage and bonus room, and Thermal Nest was the only contractor who took time to explain the difference between open-cell and closed-cell foam and what made sense for my specific situation. Their pricing was fair and transparent with no surprise add-ons. The installation was fast and the finished result looks clean and professional. I’ve already recommended them to two neighbors on my street.

Angela M. — Southwood | Wall Insulation Retrofit

Our 1950s Southwood home had virtually no insulation in the exterior walls, which made the living room unbearably cold during marine layer season. Thermal Nest used injection foam through small drilled holes, which meant minimal disruption to our walls and paint. The holes were patched so neatly that our painter barely had any prep work to do. The difference in sound reduction and temperature control has been remarkable — we wish we’d done this years ago.

Tony V. — North Torrance | New Construction Insulation

I’m a general contractor who has worked with several insulation subs over the years, and Thermal Nest is now my go-to for every project in the South Bay. They show up when they say they will, communicate clearly with the rest of the build team, and their installations pass inspection without issues every time. On my last North Torrance project, they coordinated perfectly with my framing crew and kept the schedule tight. I can’t recommend them highly enough to other GCs in the area.

Rachel and Kevin S. — Seaside Ranchos | Attic Air Sealing and Insulation

We called Thermal Nest after noticing a huge spike in our summer cooling bills. Their energy assessment revealed significant air leaks around recessed lights and HVAC penetrations that were allowing conditioned air to escape into the attic. They sealed everything properly before adding additional insulation on top, which our previous contractor had skipped entirely. Our home is noticeably cooler and our HVAC runs far less often than before. The return on investment has been faster than we expected.

Patricia G. — Torrance Cultural District | Insulation Removal and Replacement

After discovering rodent damage in our attic, we needed complete insulation removal and sanitization before anything new could go in. Thermal Nest handled every part of the process professionally, including the sanitation step that some other companies wanted to subcontract out. They kept us updated throughout and made sure the attic was completely clean and sealed before installing new insulation. The work was done within the promised timeframe and the price matched the original quote exactly.

Bobby N. — Harbor Gateway | Blown-In Insulation Top-Up

Our older townhome in Harbor Gateway had insufficient attic insulation depth, and the difference every summer was brutal. Thermal Nest came out, measured what we had, and recommended a straightforward blown-in top-up to bring us to current energy code standards. The crew was in and out in just a few hours and left the space cleaner than they found it. I appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on services I didn’t need — just honest work at a fair price.
